After the movie announcement and the 2nd trailer of the new Sonic redesign, I was filled with joy. As a celebration of the premiere of the movie during March 2020, I decided to draw the blue blur. This artwork was also shown at the Flashpoint Chicago & Columbia College Hollywood's social media. I decided to draw him again within the same day of the premiere in 2021 as a one year anniversary.
Happy Birthday, Sonic. This is an artwork to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Sonic The Hedgehog for the Sega Genesis. Even though it is specifically for Sonic 1, I redraw the pose based on Sonic Adventure for the Sega Dreamcast since that's the era I was introduced to.
Despite the bugs and hiccups Sonic Colors: Ultimate has on early access on my PS4, it doesn't stop me from finishing up the game and celebrate the release of the game. The process for the mockup below begins with using the Nintendo Switch game covers I own, then using white paper on the cover, and then take pictures of them using my phone and the black presentation boards I have laying around. I used a switch cover template created by Hopper2004 from Reddit.
